Oh Glorious Black Spirit, who for your virtue God has extended his holy blessings and has brought you to the Celestial Court to surround you with angels, archangels and seraphim. I, your admirer for your strength, knowledge and great benevolence, I ask you, in the name of God, radiate my body with your holy fluids to distance me from the evil thoughts that my enemies wish to send me. Free me, my Kongo from all attention from evil spirits, foot or hand charms and the ill will of my enemies. O, great Glorious Black Spirit, with your company I will win, with your strength I will be protected, with your fluids I will be blessed with the Holy power that God has given you. Oh great Kongo spirit help me with all my needs. I ask you, oh Glorious Black Spirit, divine protector, that you guard the boundaries of my home, against envy jealousy and a bad faith. Guard it against back biters, false friends and friend-nemies. Free me my Kongo, from all bad influences and don't abandon me in forgetfulness. I now light this fragrant candle for you so that you may perfume my body, my home, my loved ones and all that concerns me with your Glorious Presence.
