Phineas F. Bresee is the primary founder of the Church of the Nazarene. It was said of him, regardless the time of day when he greeted you he always said "good morning." In the 80s I attended a Nazarene pastor's conference in Nashville where a professional actor portrayed Phineas as a pious but joyful man. When asked why he always said good morning? He replied: "In the kingdom of heaven the sun never sets, it's always morning time." That poignant statement has had a profound impact on my life all these decades. Morning represents a new day, new opportunities. A chance to start over and to make progress. No matter the mess of yesterday, tomorrow is another day and morning will come. Carry this mentality with you 24 hours a day instead of limiting it to a few hours after sunrise. You'll vibrate on a different level and find yourself generally optimistic. In your soul, the birds will continuously sing praise to the Creator because it's always morning in the Kingdom within.
